I love what I do

Life is not a problem to be solved,
it is a mystery to be lived.

ABOUT ME

I started working in the clinical field of psychology in 1998, working with victims, first responders, and others exposed to the tragedy of the Murrah Building bombing in Oklahoma City. I worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor while working on my doctorate. I have co-authored several journal articles on PTSD in children. I specialize in anxiety, grief, divorce, couples counseling, trauma (occurring in childhood and adulthood), life transitions, and “where do I want to go in life” type questions.

I offer many approaches to therapy. There are many different lenses to help people overcome challenges. And there are many tools I would like to share with you. I believe in custom tailoring therapy to each individual client.

I don’t pretend to have it all figured out. Life is not a problem to be solved. It is a mystery to be lived. I have experienced depression, anxiety, and many other of life's challenges. I believe we are all worthy of respect and I trust you will experience me as coming from a very authentic place. I feel a genuine investment to help people become more peaceful and more fully themselves. I have dedicated my life to a deepening understanding of how we humans make it through this wild and wonderful world; with ourselves and in relationships. There are thousands of ways we can learn to feel more joy and satisfaction in life. I also will continue to search and find ways to expand my tool box as I continue to work with you, learning and fitting our shared growth to your talents and style.
